Welcome to Wolves Earthworks & Site Services ("Company", "we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using our services — including requesting a quote, scheduling a site visit, or booking work — you agree to the following terms.
We provide excavation, land clearing, grading, site preparation, utility trenching, demolition, and road base and compaction services, as agreed upon at the time of booking. Service details, pricing, and availability may vary by project and location.
Prices shown on this website are ranges for budgeting purposes only and are not an offer. Your actual price comes from a written quote issued after we walk the site.
That written quote is a fixed price for the scope described in it. It does not change unless the scope changes. If you request additional work, or if conditions are discovered that could not reasonably be seen during the site visit — buried concrete, rock requiring hammering, unmarked utilities, contaminated or unsuitable soil, or a change in permit requirements — we will stop, tell you, and issue a written change order for your approval before continuing. We do not perform unapproved extra work and then bill for it.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon completion of the work described in the quote. Multi-phase or extended projects may be invoiced in progress payments as set out in the quote.
Earthwork depends on ground and weather conditions. Rain, snow, frost, saturated soil, or unsafe conditions may require rescheduling. We will notify you as early as possible and reschedule at no penalty to either party.
You are responsible for providing safe and legal access to the site for our crew and equipment, including any gates, easements, or permissions required from neighbors or an HOA. If our equipment cannot reach the work area on the scheduled date for reasons within your control, a return trip may be billable.
Please notify us at least 48 hours before the scheduled start date to reschedule or cancel. Because equipment, operators, and permits are committed in advance, later cancellations may result in a cancellation fee covering mobilization costs already incurred.
Most Utah cities require a grading or land disturbance permit before clearing, excavation, or filling begins. When our quote states that we will obtain the permit, we handle the application, the city, and the inspections. Permit fees charged by the city are passed through at cost unless the quote states otherwise.
We mark utilities through Blue Stakes of Utah 811 on every job, without exception, before any excavation begins.
Your responsibility on utilities: Blue Stakes locates public utilities. It does not locate privately installed lines — sprinkler systems, landscape lighting, private water or gas lines, septic laterals, invisible pet fences, or unpermitted work by a previous owner. You must tell us in writing about any private underground lines you know of or suspect before we dig. We are not liable for damage to private underground installations that were not disclosed to us and were not marked.
We take every reasonable precaution to protect your property and carry general liability insurance and workers' compensation. A certificate of insurance is available on request.
Certain conditions are inherent to earthwork and are not covered: pre-existing damage; damage to driveways, sidewalks, curbs, lawns, and landscaping along the access route that is unavoidable given the equipment required and disclosed before work begins; settlement or drainage problems caused by work performed by others; and damage resulting from inaccurate information provided about the site.
We are not responsible for the design or engineering of your project. Where a project requires engineered plans, a geotechnical report, or a survey, those must be provided by you or your engineer, and we build to them.
Where our written quote states it, we warrant our compaction and drainage work for twelve (12) months from completion. This warranty covers our workmanship. It does not cover damage caused by others, by subsequent construction, by irrigation or drainage changes made after we leave, or by unusual weather events.
We respect your privacy. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.
